Takethelead is a professional dog walking service based in Sutton, run by Andy, a lifelong dog lover with nearly 20 years’ experience as a primary school teacher and senior leader. He now combines his love of dogs, exercise, and nature to offer reliable walks across Sutton, Carshalton, Wallington, and Cheam. Inspired by Duncan, a much-loved Great Dane–Rottweiler cross who “took the lead,” Andy built the brand around the bond he feels with every dog.

Each new dog begins with a free home visit to discuss their needs and personality, ensuring walks are tailored and safe. Andy is DBS-checked, fully insured by Cliverton, and canine first aid trained (Jan 2018), giving owners extra reassurance. Regular updates, photos, and videos keep clients connected to their dogs’ adventures.
