Visit our directory and filter by service type (dog walking, training, grooming, veterinary care, etc.) and borough (Lambeth, Richmond, Wandsworth, etc.). Each listing shows the provider's services, specialties, location, Google rating, and contact information.
We feature Dog Walkers, Dog Trainers, Dog Groomers, Pet Sitters, Veterinary Practices, Dog Day Care, and Pet Boarding. Each listing includes their borough, services offered, specialties, opening hours (when available), and contact details.
Pawthority is a directory that aggregates publicly available information about pet care businesses. We do not independently verify insurance, qualifications, or conduct background checks. All providers listed have active businesses with Google reviews. We recommend you check their Google reviews, verify their insurance and qualifications directly, ask for references, and meet them before booking.
No. Pawthority connects you with providers, but you book directly with them. Each listing includes a phone number (click "Show Number"), website link (click "Visit Website"), Google Business Profile (click "Google Profile"), and contact form (use "Get in Touch"). Providers respond to enquiries with their rates and availability.
We aim to keep information current, but details like opening hours, services, and contact information may change. Always verify critical details directly with the provider before booking.

Yes! Pawthority is completely free for pet owners.
For Pet Care Professionals
If your pet care business serves London and meets our listing criteria, you may already be listed. Search for your business name in our directory. If you find it, click "Are you [Business Name]?" on your profile page to claim it. If you're not listed, you can still claim or apply on our For Professionals page.
Claiming lets you add your logo, keep your contact details current and add a short note in your own words. We can also add services your own website shows. Opening hours, address and rating come from your Google Business Profile.
Click "Are you [Business Name]?" on your profile page and fill in the short form. We confirm you're the owner, usually from your business email, and reply within 48 hours. Claiming is free.
No. Basic listings are free. Any business that meets our listing criteria is listed at no cost.
Yes. If your own website shows a service we don't list, let us know and we'll add it. Boarding and day care also need a council licence.
Claim your listing if you haven't already, then email hello@pawthority.co.uk with the details you'd like changed. We'll update them within 48 hours. Opening hours, address and rating come from your Google Business Profile, so please change those there.
If you'd prefer not to be listed, email hello@pawthority.co.uk with your business name and we'll remove your listing within 48 hours.
Not yet. When they launch, providers will be able to pay for a fuller profile with photos and more detail, or for a clearly labelled featured spot. Listing stays free, and paying will never decide which providers are listed or the order they appear in on our borough pages.
When you claim your listing, send us your logo, or let us use the one on your website, and we'll add it to your profile. More photo options are planned for Premium Verified.
No. Pawthority displays your contact information (phone, website, Google profile) and provides a "Get in Touch" form. Pet owners contact you directly to inquire about rates and availability.
When a pet owner uses the "Get in Touch" form on your profile, we'll connect you with their enquiry. You'll receive their contact details and message, then respond directly to arrange services. Enquiries are free: there's no commission and no paying for leads.
We display: business name, services offered, location/borough served, Google rating and review count, specialties and approach (when available), opening hours (when available), contact information (phone and website), and Instagram profile (if provided). Ratings, review counts and opening hours come from Google. Everything else comes from publicly available information or what you send us after claiming.

It doesn't yet. Pawthority is independently run and free for pet owners to use. In future, providers will be able to pay for a fuller profile with photos and more detail. Paying will never decide which providers are listed or the order they appear in on our borough pages, and any paid placement will be clearly labelled as featured.
