Grubby Paws Dogs

Grubby Paws Dog Training, led by Freya Coakley, supports dog owners across East London with calm, compassionate 1‑to‑1 training and behaviour guidance. Freya works with dogs of all backgrounds, specialising in city life challenges such as reactivity, fear, and lead pulling, and helping each dog and human team enjoy life together in busy urban environments.

Drawing from her own experience rehabilitating a nervous rescue, Freya understands the realities of raising dogs in flats, parks, and public spaces. Her approach is practical and non‑judgmental, combining modern positive training methods with a deep respect for individuality. Every training plan is tailored to suit the owner’s lifestyle and the dog’s emotional needs.

Clients appreciate Freya’s empathy, inclusivity, and genuine care for both ends of the lead. She is known for creating a safe space where owners feel supported, seen, and confident while learning to guide their dogs with kindness. Her goal is simple helping every Londoner discover the dream dog already in front of them.
