Most salons are on local high streets. In the north these include Thornton Heath, Norbury and South Norwood. To the east there are salons in Addiscombe, Shirley and Selsdon, and in the south in Purley and Coulsdon, as well as in central Croydon. Seasonal considerations

In winter the parks in the north are often waterlogged, including the wetland areas of South Norwood Country Park, and dogs come home with clay mud on their legs and underside.
